About • Our Dream for Hawaii

A CHURCH THAT looks like heaven & SERVES LIKE OHANA

Born in 2005 in a tiny Kalihi storefront, Hawaii Dream Center began with a simple conviction: no one in Hawaii should feel alone, hungry, or without hope. Today we are a vibrant, multi-ethnic, multi-generational church and nonprofit outreach serving Oahu from Honolulu to Waianae.

We blend island culture and biblical faith. Slippers welcome. Hula and ukulele in worship. Prayer in English, Hawaiian, Samoan, Tagalog, Chuukese and Marshallese. Whether you are houseless in Chinatown, a military family at Pearl Harbor, a student at UH Manoa, or visiting Waikiki — you have a seat at our table.

✓

Faith + Action: Sunday church fuels Monday outreach — food pantry, homeless showers, legal aid clinics, job training and sober-living support.

✓

Keiki to Kupuna: From Dream Kids (0-11) to youth, young adults, women, men and our beloved kupuna elders — every age belongs.

✓

Island-rooted: We partner with 60+ Hawaii schools, farms, businesses and agencies to malama (care for) our aina and people.

Why we do it

FROM ADDICTION TO aloha — MEET KEKOA

“I came to Hawaii to escape. I ended up houseless in Waikiki. The Dream Center van gave me a shower, a meal, and someone who remembered my name. Six months later I was baptized at Ala Moana Beach. Now I lead the shower ministry.”
